The Multiflex Pod+ LWB Kombi/Van option add’s an extra 400mm in length and extra storage & access door toward the front. There is also an additional 400mm bed board with spring loaded securing latch that can be used as part of the bed or stored vertically at behind the second row seats.

Description

The Multiflex Pod+ is a significant upgrade from our entry level Mulitlfex Pod. It takes our System to the next level by offering significant enhancements on the the standard version. It offers all the same convenience of the original Pod with the use of multifunctional bed boards but includes an integrated Water and LPG system.

The Multiflex Pod+ onboard Water & Gas System.

Water System – 24ltr water tank that can be easily filled, from the rear, with the  quick connect water fill point. It has an automatic shut off valve ensuring there are no accidents even if you forget to turn off the supply. Water is distributed to 2x quick release outlets by the 7lpm self priming diaphragm pump via a removable water filter. The 2x water outlets, 1 located in the side and another located in the rear, allows the possibility to supply 2 separate devices thus allowing connection to the Multiflex Kitchen/ Combo and the supplied Shower hose simultaneously.

Gas System – Supplied is a Campingaz bottle located at the front and secured by a bottle strap, the gas system with its 2x quick release gas outlets allows the possibility to connect 2 appliances. With connections in the side and rear frame, it is easy to connect the Multiflex Kitchen/ Combo and a portable gas BBQ or Multiflex Hotflow and have both in full operation simultaneously.

Electrical – To power the diaphragm pump and on board 12v auxiliary port the MFP+ has 2.5mtr (14awg) cable that can, via a dedicated fuse box, connect to any of the vehicles 12v auxiliary outlets.

The Mulitflex Pod+ only has storage on the passenger side as a custom designed water tank and gas bottle bracket is situated over the wheel arch on the driver side frame. As standard it comes with both lower side door and a top access doors on the passenger side.

Multiflex System Modular Extras

Additional removable ‘Pods’ can be added to work with Pod+ and, depending on customer needs, there is a large choice to suit most. These additional pods can be added or removed in seconds. They slide on the rail system and are secured by springloded shoot-bolts. 

Manufacturing 

The Multiflex Pod is manufactured from phenolic faced birch plywood and lightweight T slot aluminium profile. The plywood is both a hard wearing and high impact resistant material, the same material used on the floors of trailers & horse boxes. The extruded T slot aluminium profile is used to make the frame and allows for fantastic strength to weight ratio as well as the versatility to attach various items, such as lashing rings, in various positions to secure items.

The material is all skilfully machined by our craftsmen and all cut edges are sanded, varnished and waxed for a high quality finish.

Installation

You will be required to visit our workshop for free fitting, we do not currently deliver. Installation should take approximately 60-90 mins without any unforeseen issues.

What does our system fit?

This will fit all SWB T5, T5.1, T6, T6.1 Kombi or Panel Vans with either single or twin sliders, tailgate or barn doors. We can modify our pod to suit electric sliding doors, please let us know when ordering though as this is not standard fitment. 

It is compatible with any combination of standard Kombi seats or, with a Multiflex Extension, can be used with the seats completely removed.
